All City Review

All City Bikes is located in Bloomington, Minnesota. The company specializes in bikes, bike frames and components for the urban cycling community. All City is owned and operated by lifelong riders who make bikes and products for other riding enthusiasts. All City Bikes manufactures and markets two complete urban bikes and four bike frame sets.

The Big Block model is a track frame bike that was designed with the fixed gear rider in mind. This bike is at home in an urban city street environment as well as on the boards. All City created the Big Block to be able to handle any bumps, hit sprinting speeds and to be ridden hard.

All City’s newest bike is the Nature Boy. This bike is a single speed cyclocross racer. This bike has not been made available to the public yet; it will be available in August. The final specs have not been revealed but this bike boasts internal cable routing, rust proof tubing, hidden fender mounts and very aggressive racing frame geometry. In short, this bike is fast and customizable. The final specifications will be revealed in the very near future. The Nature Boy, which is named after famed wrestler Ric Flair, will be available in racy neon green.

In addition to the complete bikes, All City sells four framesets: Big Block, Nature Boy, Dropout and the Dropout Limited Edition. The first two are the same frames used in the bikes of the same name listed above. The Dropout and Dropout Limited Edition are equally at home as fixed gear freestyle bikes or BMX buildups. The framesets come with the 990 mounts from 700c BMX bikes. However the rider wished to customize, this frame delivers.

Cyclists agree that the Big Block is a fast city bike that is built tough with the ability to handle any weather conditions, even a snowy February in Minneapolis on slushy, salty streets. This bike, according to many riders, is fast and handles just as promised. Industry experts agree that All City Bikes offer a great balance between urban hardcore riding and track or freestyle handling.
