Tires on these bike rims are easy to access for repairs and the clincher rim and tire functions almost as good as the tubular style rim does. Although all rims use tires of course, not all tires have bike tubes in them. Some rims today like the Mongoose bike rims are also quick disconnect models that allow the rim and tire to be quickly removed without any tools. Some rims have serviceable cartridges in the wheel hubs for doing required maintenance.
