One strong point of FSA when it comes to performance is its line of FSA Steering Components, particularly the bike stems. One model like the FSA OS-99 CSI Stem has been garnering rave reviews. This stem features FSA’s Carbon fiber technology. CSI stands for Carbon Structural Integration, a meticulous process that binds carbon fiber to an alloy, creating a hybrid material that retains the lightness of the carbon and the strength of the metal alloy. This 3-D Forged, CNC 7050 aluminum tightless stem is secured onto the handlebars by four titanium bolts. It weights 122 grams and has a 35mm stack height. It comes in 80-130mm lengths in 10mm increments.
 
For conventional stems, there’s the FSA OS-190 Stem. Its alloy base is a 3-D forged and CNC-machined 6061 Aluminum secured to the handlebar and headset like FSA Headsets by chrome-plated steel bolts. Its simple body design has a laser-etched graphics and a four-bolt faceplate. Despite its material, it is extremely light (only 150g) and strong. It comes in 90mm-130mm lengths and 40mm stack height.
