About FSA Drivetrain Components

 
A bicycle moves thanks to the system of components that work together to transmit the power from the rider’s legs to the wheeldrive at the rear. Pro cyclists are known to be meticulous when it comes to drivetrain. After all, this system determines the performance of their bikes during races. FSA, a brand popular among cyclists, has manufactured various drivetrain components like FSA cranks, FSA cogs, etc.
 
As for FSA Cranks and Parts, FSA has the FSA K-Force Light. This crankset utilizes carbon fiber material like the one used in FSA Seatposts. Users praise the full carbon, hollow construction that provides excellent strength and stiffness while weighing only a fraction of metal alloy. This crank comes with 44/33/22-tooth configured chainrings made of anodized aluminum attached to the five-arm spider via 7075 aluminum TOrx T-30 bolts. The crank moves the FSA Chains via bottom bracket with ceramic bearings. This 3k Carbon weave-finish weighs a nifty 770 grams.
 
 
Allowing the FSA crankset to rotate is the FSA Mega Exo Ceramic Bottom. The main spindle is made of forged and CNC-machined chromoly alloy. It comes in 68mm (English) and 70mm (Italian) width. It contains the widely acclaimed ceramic bearings. Ceramic bearings were documented to be stronger, lighter and more resilient than metal ones. Another thing is that they have lower mechanical drag because of the low friction coefficient. According to reviews, these bearings have long lives when maintained regularly.
