Camelbak is a bike company that manufactures pack bike hydration systems that are used by outdoor cyclists. This company started out by making hydration packs products for mountain bike riders and motocross because it allowed them to drink water or juice without taking their hands off the handlebars when they were riding through tough terrain. According to sources bikers or riders who were well hydrated always performed better than their dehydrated counterparts. This also meant that sport can become more engaging and more entertaining but the viewer and to the rider himself. It soon became common that the rider did not have stop to drink water from the water bottles.
 
Camelbak hydration systems are used in several sports today. Some of the sports include hiking, running, skiing and snowboarding. All these sports need to use hands-free models to drink water in order to prevent them from stopping what they are doing. One of the products of Camelbak hydration systems is the 2010 Alpine Explorer. 2010 Alpine Explorer hydration pack model is designed to provide the rider with three hours of hydration during the day. Sources say that is lightweight, comfortable and even small enough so that it will not get in the way of the rider as they go up the mountain or the trail. The other items that can be carried along with 2010 Alpine Explorer like food items, cell phone, camera and extra bike parts as well. There are hydration packs that are designed especially for men and there are hydration packs that are specially designed for women as well.
